The Raad van Beheer is the organization in the Netherlands that stands for the relationship between people and dogs. This is not only about all kinds of activities that you can do with your dog, such as sports or showing, but also about breeding healthy dogs. Cynology stands for everything that has to do with this special relationship. Therefore, the full name is Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied in Nederland. BREED CLUB
The EGCN wants to connect experienced breeders and use their knowledge and experience. Together, mutual competition must be converted into common inspiration and adequate policy. The vision of the EGCN is cross-breed and the search is for the common denominator of a conscious and deliberate pedigree breeding. We have to find a solution to get out of negativism. Both externally, for example the smear that is carried out in the media against purebred dog breeding, but certainly also internally. Although the regulations for purebred dog breeding must be adequate, they must also serve the purpose of careful pedigree dog breeding and thus breeders. We should be proud again of our pedigree dogs and our pedigree dog breeding and what we contribute to our cultural heritage.
